The latest version of MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM brings new full display gesture feature and also some important bug fixes. As announced, the update introduces new navigation gestures that can be used in framers. Similar is found on the iPhone X, which has no button under the screen.
MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM version with number 7.12.28 also introduces other improvements. In the official list of changes, we read that Xiaomi improved the Mi Browser application and solved some problems with WhatsApp. The upgrade can be tested on the following devices: Mi MIX 2, Redmi Note 4 MTK, Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm / Redmi Note 4X, Mi 6, Mi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Mi Max 2, Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 2, Redmi 4 / 4X and Redmi 4A.
The update for the MIUI 9 Global Beta (Both BETA closed and public) has been permanently suspended for the following models: Mi 2 / 2S, Mi 4i, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime and Mi Note. They will still receive the building between December and January.
Note: Update for Mi 6 and Mi MIX 2 are suspended this week.
