Xiaomiui, a technology media source, reports that Xiaomi has initiated testing of the special edition MIUI 15 update, which is built on Android 14, for two of its high-end models, namely Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Redmi K60 Pro.
Transitioning to specifics, the first stable version of MIUI 15 for the Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra has been assigned the version number MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UMACNXM, while the Redmi K60 Pro’s initial stable MIUI 15 version is labeled as MIUI-V15.0.0.1.UMKCNXM.
According to reports, Xiaomi is planning to release this anticipated update either at the end of October or in the first week of November.
The MIUI15 update, based on Android 14, is anticipated to introduce significant enhancements. It will encompass interface adjustments, performance optimization, security enhancements, and an array of customization options, all geared toward ensuring smoother and faster device operation. Remarkably, this unique version of MIUI15 is expected to be exclusively available on flagship devices.
In addition, Xiaomi is actively testing MIUI updates for users of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series. These updates are projected to deliver substantial functional improvements and interface updates. Regrettably, it’s worth noting that these new versions will not be based on Android 14.
