News about Xiaomi‘s highly anticipated MIUI 13 interface continues to come incessantly. While the Chinese manufacturer is currently delivering MIUI 12.5 to the last supported models, it continues its preparations for MIUI 13, which was said to be released with Mi Mix 4 and Mi Pad 5 in August, was first mentioned by company officials this time.
Previously, Chinese sources stated that MIUI 13 will be introduced earlier than expected via Weibo. Later, a few screenshots of the MIUI 13 interface were also leaked, supporting these claims. However, Wang Hua from Xiaomi’s Public Relations Department recently stated that the new interface update will not be introduced in August.
In this context, Xiaomi’s new Mix 4 flagship and Mi Pad 5 tablet will not come out of the box with MIUI 13 directly. However, when this update is released, it will be among the first lucky phones to get the new interface on both models.
According to the previously revealed information, Mi Mix 4 will be released as the first Xiaomi phone with under-screen camera technology. On the processor side, this phone, which is expected to get its power from the Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, will also be equipped with a curved design and a panel with a refresh rate of at least 120Hz.
Both the new Mix series smartphone and the Mi Pad 5 tablet, which the Chinese manufacturer will announce after three years, will be launched at the event to be held in August. However, the highly anticipated MIUI 13 interface is expected to be announced at a later time.
