On the occasion of the opening day of the Xiaomi Mi Fan Festival 2021, Lei Jun, founder of the Chinese giant, made an announcement that many users were waiting impatiently: the MIUI 12.5 stable version will be officially released on April 30, 2021.
MIUI 12.5 in stable version will be available at the end of this month for the first batch of devices that includes the following models:
- Xiaomi Mi 11
- Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra
- Xiaomi Mi 9 SE
The second batch of devices that will receive the expected update to MIUI 12.5 in the course of May includes the following models:
Recall that at the beginning of this month the internal stable beta version of MIUI 12.5 has already been released in China for Xiaomi Mi 11, Mi 10 Ultra, and Mi 9 SE.
According to the Chinese giant, this version of its customized interface introduces several innovations regarding sound effects, privacy management, and tactile design, improving the use of system memory (with an average decrease of 35%) and consumption. (with a reduction of 25%).
Lei Jun also took the opportunity to announce the introduction of some changes to improve the user experience offered by the company (and this with reference to all the sectors of technology that she deals with) and made on the basis of suggestions provided by the community which revolves around the Chinese giant.
