This week, MIUI was officially launched on December 5, and the first OTA of the private beta has been released at 21:00 PM on the 28th.
According to the official page of MIUI 12.5, the public beta version is scheduled to be released in batches from mid-to-late January 2021, and the first batch of stable version will be released from the end of April 2021.
In terms of models, the public test covers 21 models, namely xiaomi mi 10 Youth /10/10 Pro/ Supreme Commemorative Edition, Redmi K30/K30 5G/K30 Pro/K30i 5G/K30S Supreme Commemorative /K30 Commemorative Edition, Xiaomi mi 9/9 SE, Xiaomi mi CC9e/CC9 Pro, Redmi K20/K20 Pro, Redmi 10X 5G/10X Pro, Redmi Note 7/Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro, etc.
The first batch of stable edition only has four models, namely Mi 11, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 Supreme Commemorative edition.
It is revealed that the second batch of the public beta version will include Xiaomi mi 9 Pro 5G Version, Xiaomi mi CC9/CC9 Meitu customized version, Redmi Note 9 4G/Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 8/Note 8 Pro, etc.
Going back to MIUI 12.5 itself, the main feature is lighter, faster, and less expensive, with 20% less memory for the core scene, comparable to iOS in motion. Privacy protection is further enhanced, including intelligent clipboard privacy protection, file sandbox mechanism, etc. In addition, I also built a note-taking app (instead of notes), which supports doodling, thinking notes, excerpts, etc., as well as MIUI+, an efficient application for Windows and Android.
