Today, Xiaomi MIUI 11 beta has added a new desktop drawer mode. The upgrade of the system desktop also has been officially released in the Xiaomi store. It is reported that users need to go to the app store to update the system desktop first, and then choose to use classic mode or drawer mode in Settings > Desktop > Desktop mode.

The top of the display is a line of recently opened applications ( recent apps ), while the lower side will display all the apps installed on your phone. However, the mechanism for closing the drawer of this application is not explained.
There are two possibilities to close the app drawer, ie the user can swipe the screen down ( swipe down ) or by pressing home or back in the row of navigation buttons located at the bottom.
Nevertheless, this app drawer feature is only available for Xiaomi phones in China which are equipped with the MiUI 11 interface. There is no information on when Xiaomi Smartphone users outside China, or phones with the global version of MIUI 11, will be visited by the update.
