Microsoft Surface Duo lasted 5 years and finally went on sale, starting at $1399.99, but it is a pity that Surface Duo does not support 5G. Competitive Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, and other folding screens have been supported.
Today, according to media reports, the next-gene Surface Duo of Microsoft will support 5G networks for the first time to make up for the shortcomings of the first generation.
As for the Surface Duo successor, it will reportedly be called the Microsoft Surface Duo V2. Microsoft had previously taken over the Romanian, Taiwanese, and American operations of software engineering company Movial to work on its dual-screen Android devices. It was also apparently looking to hire engineers to work on its future foldable phones.
In terms of specifications, the Surface Duo features two 5.6-inch AMOLED displays with a resolution of 1800×1350, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, the main camera is 11MP, and the battery capacity is 3577mAh. In addition, Microsoft provides three years of operating system and security update support for Surface Duo.
