Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been making rounds for a while now, it has also been a part of leaks online on Weibo. Now again the news has leaked that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will have atleast Four versions of it.
Further leaks reveal the Mi Note 2 will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor, is an upgraded version of the infamous Snapdragon 820 chip. The phone will have a 5.7” Super AMOLED display which will come in 1080p and 2K resolutions. In addition to these two, there will be a third type with the same 2K resolution but will supposedly feature a curved edge. Although all versions will be pressure sensitive (3D Touch) and will be protected by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass, and also will feature an embedded fingerprint scanner. Below picture is supposed to be the Mi Note 2 , but i advise to take it with a pinch of salt.
Extended info says it will come with NFC, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.2, an IR blaster, dual speakers with Hi-Fi audio, full network support and VoLTE. The Mi Note 2 will be powered by a 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
Talking about the versions we will have options of a variety of RAM and ROM configurations. There will be a 4GB + 32GB version, a 6GB + 64GB model, and another version with the same 6GB of RAM but 128GB of storage.
The base version of Mi Note 2 with a 1080p display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage will sell for 2499 Yuan ($376). Upping the RAM to 6GB & doubling the storage to 64GB and adding a 2K screen to the phone will increase the price to 2999 Yuan ($450). The curved version which will feature 6GB of RAM a whopping 128GB ROM, a 2K resolution and will be priced a premium 3499 Yuan ($526). There is also a possible 6GB + 128GB version which will feature a FHD display and sell for 2799 Yuan ($421). Mi Note 2 is expected to launch on September 5, almost 2 weeks after the rumoured launch of the Redmi 4 on August 25.
