Compared with last year, Meizu has slowed down its steps to release more smartphones per month, they have reduced the frequency to open the press conference. According to previous news, Meizu is preparing for a new flagship smartphone, aiming at high-end level, called Meizu Pro 7.
At the end of last month, Russian Meizu fans made two renderings of Meizu full screen smartphone which have attracted Jeffrey Yang, Meizu Vice CEO feedback. He claims Meizu Pro 7 will be more elegant and beautiful than their renderings, and the holding feeling will be quite comfortable.
According to insider @Mocha RQ, Meizu Pro 7 and Meizu Pro 7 Plus should be released in July. The screen size should be 5.2 inch and 5.7 inch, adopting Samsung AMOLED, the front camera uses 1080P resolution, the back one uses 2K screen, they will use Helio X30 and Samsung Exynos 8895 processor.
Recently, the other media, Slashleaks has released a set of Meizu new patents photos about Meizu Pro 7. From the designing photos, the biggest feature is to add a small screen under the dual rear camera, which looks very exquisite, as for its function, we have no idea now. Some users speculate that it will be used the assistant screen to show the information, and the back lens can be regarded as a selfies lens.
In addition, the smartphone doesn’t use full screen design, it adopts fingerprint scanner on the home button, retaining 3.5mm earphone jack. Therefore, Meizu Pro 7 will be very stunting which is worthwhile to wait.
