Meizu has released a new firmware update for the users of Meizu Note 6. The firmware that weighs 1860 MB can be found listed on the official website of the company. Its exact version number is Flyme 6.1.4.7A. The update has been released to fix some issues like inability to enter new fingerprints and the inclusion of the game mode 2.0 version.
The new game mode 2.0 automatically begins the game assistant when a game is started. The notification messages do not disturb the player while playing the game. Also, the volume of the video and voice chat has been adjusted to cause less hindrance to gaming.
Problems associated with the Avatar app that does not allow it to get information from contacts and the disappearance of the avatar after turning off the app have been resolved. Other problems that have been fixed by the update includes issues related to the transparency of floating notifications, incorrect displaying of real-time network speed, incorrect showing of network identifier in the 4G+ network, inability to recognize microSD card.
The new update also resolves multiple stability problems and improves the performance of the device. According to Meizu VP Li-Nan, since there are numerous Meizu Note 6, the update may not be available to all the users at the same time. Hence, the Note 6 users are advised to wait for the arrival of the update.
