Meizu M9 Note, the alleged competitor of Redmi Note 7, appeared on the website of the Chinese regulator TENAA with full technical specifications. A smartphone with the model number M923Q may debut in China soon. It has a drop-shaped notch, in which the front camera is located. It will be offered in 3 colors – Dark Ochre, Silver Ochre, and Starry Blue. It is expected to be officially launched in mid-February.
The device is running Flyme OS based on Android 9.0 Pie. It is equipped with a 6.2-inch Full-HD + (1080 × 2244 pixels) IPS-display. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 675 processor in combination with 6GB of RAM. The amount of internal storage is 64GB and can be expanded using a microSD card. Snapdragon 675 is manufactured in an 11nm process with a Kryo 460 CPU core and an Adreno 612 GPU. The chip scored approximately 170,000 in the AnTuTu benchmark test.
On the back, there is a dual camera with a 48MP main and 5MP additional sensor. In front is a 20MP camera. The battery capacity is 3900mAh. The dimensions of the smartphone are 153.11х74.34х8.65 mm. The device weighs 169.7 grams.
Earlier it was reported that the smartphone Meizu Note 9 has been certified. New in the documents listed with model number M923Q. According to the publication GizChina, this is a smartphone Meizu Note 9, which was previously told the CEO of the company. Unfortunately, the certification did not disclose the characteristics of the device. It only hints at the imminent announcement of the smartphone.
However, some details about Meizu Note 9 are already known. It will work on the new Snapdragon 6150 processor. This is the codename of the Snapdragon 680 chip or Snapdragon 685. Also, the smartphone will be equipped with a 4000mAh battery and a 48MP main camera. Most likely with the Sony IMX586 module, like the Honor V20 (aka Honor View 20).
Most likely, we are talking about a device with a screen that does not have a cutout and a hole for the front camera, like the Galaxy A8s and Honor V20. Unfortunately, the company did not disclose any details about the Meizu M9 Note. In any case, we will know everything soon. Its price is expected to start at just around 1000 yuan (about $14). It will compete with the recently released Redmi Note 7 and the performance of both phones will be better and worse.
