Meizu has confirmed that it will be debuting the Meizu E3 smartphone on March 21. The launch event will be held at Beijing Performing Arts Center in China at 2:30 PM local time. The handset has already received certification from TENAA and 3C authorities in China. It is speculated to arrive in the market as a competitor for the Redmi Note 5 that will be launching in China on March 16.
Since Xiaomi has already confirmed that the Redmi Note 5 will be equipped with Snapdragon 636 and 6 GB of RAM, it is quite evident that it will be rebranded Redmi Note 5 Pro that was released in India last month.
Rumors are rife that the Meizu E3 that will be arriving in the market to take on the Redmi Note 5 will be fueled by Snapdragon 636 chipset. It is 14nm chipset that was released in October. The only other smartphone that is powered by the SD636 chip is the Asus ZenFone 5.
Meizu VP Li Nan has claimed that the Meizu E3 will be coming with a better camera than the Meizu Note 6. Hence, it is expected to deliver amazing photography experience. The handset will be coming with other features like full screen display, 4 GB / 6 GB RAM options, 32 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB storage choices and 12-megapixel + 20-megapixeld dual cameras.
