The chinese OEMs are giving all other OEMs a run for their money, previously they used to play in the budget to mid range segment , well now they are offering full fledged flagship products with so compromises what soever. Meizu which has been in the news for MX6 launch recently seems to have another smartphone launch in tow, the Meizu Charm Blue Metal 2. A set of images leaked today show the Meizu Charm Blue Metal 2 in all its glory.
The images are rather murky may be taken with an inferior camera and not so proper light conditions, increasing their validity more (spy shots ofcourse). The phone looks great with design inspirations taken from previous Meizu phones, like the circular flash, or the plastic strips going all the way from left screen bezel to right for radio communications.
From the pics we can see the layout of components, the power button and volume buttons on the right, a sim /microSD hybrid slot on the left, furthermore we have a micro usb, mic, speaker grill and the 3.5mm headphone jack and screws on the bottom. On the front we probably have a 5.5″ screen, a camera on the left side of the earpiece, and the iconic elliptical Home button with an embedded fingerprint sensor.
For the specifications part recent benchmark leaks revealed that the Meizu Blue Charm Metal 2 will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Helio P10 processor, 5.5-inch Full HD screen, 3GB RAM, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and 13MP/5MP cameras combos. Beside this it is expected to have all the standard connectivity features.
Beside this the images reveal the model number of the phone to be M1 E, and that the phone will come with Yun OS with FlyMe on top of it.
The rumored price of the phone is CNY 1099 ($165), and it is rumoured Meizu will be launching the device on 10th August along with the Meizu Smartwatch. So many things to look for in August.
