Yesterday digital blogger @digital chat website released the record information of two new Meizu phones, which are suspected to be Meizu 18 series. On January 27, Digital Chat confirmed on its microblog that the two phones are Meizu’s Snapdragon 888 iteration models, likely to be named Meizu 18 series, and are expected to be released in the first quarter.
According to the filing information, the Meizu 18 series is divided into standard and professional (PRO) versions, which are equipped with 4000± and 4500± batteries respectively. Confusingly, the standard version still has 30 watts of charging power and the Pro only has 40 watts of charging power. Now the mainstream Android flagship charging power has come to more than 50W, iQoo 7 even used 120W fast charging, Meizu 18 series of charging power in the flagship, only a little faster than Apple, Samsung.
There is no exact information about other configuration, but @Digital Chateau says the main upgrade points are processor and screen. The Snapdragon 865 will be upgraded to Snapdragon 888, and the screen will be upgraded to native FHD+, 120Hz, Samsung E4 OLED light emitting material, using small hole design.
In recent years, mobile phone upgrades are mainly configured in three aspects: screen, processor and camera. This year, FHD+ 120Hz E4 screen will become the mainstream, and Snapdragon 888 will be the flagship device of Android. Needless to say. The disadvantage of Meizu mobile phone is in the shooting. Huami OV and other manufacturers have started to use customized sensors and flagship sensors on the large sole. Only Meizu is still using the public version of the flagship sensor IMX686, which is almost reduced to the price of 1000 yuan and 2000 yuan.
The initial price of Meizu 17 series starts at 3,699 yuan, while Meizu 18 series is expected to remain the same, starting at 3,699 yuan. In early December, Meizu announced on its official Weibo account that the first batch of new Meizu products powered by the Snapdragon 888 will be released in the spring of 2021, and the Meizu 18 series will be released in March if nothing unexpected happens.
