Meizu 17 is ready to debut in about ten days with an event already scheduled for May 8th. The Meizu 17 Pro version, which also features the now inevitable (for a top of the range) 5G module, will be made of ceramic for a truly striking visual and tactile effect.
Through the Chinese social network Weibo, the invitation for the presentation appeared (virtual, of course). Which incorporates the design of the back of the smartphone with the multisensor module inside a horizontally oriented housing. There will be a 64MP main eye of Sony, an 8MP wide-angle, a 5MP with a telephoto lens, and a 2MP depth sensor.
As mentioned, the Pro version will have a ceramic shell. As already seen with the Xiaomi Mi Mix or Essential Phone range. This gives not only greater appeal but also resistance to scratches and wear. The screen will be a 6.5 inch full HD + AMOLED with a 90 Hz update. According to the information, the device will have a Snapdragon 865 chip with a 5G modem. There is no news yet about RAM, internal memory, so it remains to wait until the official release.
It will have a 4500mAh battery with Super wireless mCharge technology and is expected to support 40W fast charging. Confirmed the presence of the fingerprint scanner under the display.
The rest of the specs will be shown on May 8th. The release of Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro will take place primarily in China, where it is also already in pre-order on the popular jd.com portal while it should arrive to us through the classic import and resale markets.
