Meizu 16s Pro was officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, but the Chinese manufacturer seems already projected into the near future. Following the numbering inaugurated on the occasion of its 15th anniversary, the company’s next top of the range should be called Meizu 17 and we might even already know its overall design.
The first renderings attributed to Meizu 17 have been leaked on the net , which show a design not very dissimilar to that which characterizes the predecessor Meizu 16s Pro, if it was not for a detail that immediately catches the eye: the wide edges displays are in fact curved on the sides, taking up a long-standing custom of Samsung’s flagship smartphones.
A peculiarity that has been discussed for years by users, who have always appreciated the visual impact, but often hated the drastic drop in practicality and ergonomics. Much will depend on the incidence of this curvature, but we are sure that many of you will not welcome this possible novelty.
Finally, let’s take a look also at the back of the alleged Meizu 17, also in this case a simple variation on the theme of its predecessors. The rear surface appears to be very clean and minimal, where a triple traffic light camera is located at the top left, along with striking LED ring.
The main sensor should be 48MP and this is the only detail on the specifications that we can currently deduce. As for the expansion of the front camera, it is 20MP. Unfortunately, the insider has not yet led to the cost of the upcoming Meizu 17 or the timing of its release. We will certainly hear further about it again in the coming months.
