Today is being a day full of new arrivals from China; While Xiaomi has finally launched the 2 new models of its Mi 8 range, Meizu has finally launched the highly anticipated Meizu 16X, a terminal from which almost all of its features had been filtered. The Meizu 16X will be available in 3 colors: Jet Black, Noble Gold, and Ru White, this latest version is inspired by Ru ceramic and will have a ceramic metal finish.
And no, there have been no surprises regarding what we already knew. The new member of the Meizu 16 family arrives with the focus on the young audience but with such interesting features as the Snapdragon 710 chip or the sensor fingerprints integrated into the screen.
Under a metal body, the front of the Meizu 16X is almost entirely occupied by an AMOLED FullHD + 6-inch screen, with a ratio greater than 90% and without notch. Precisely here is where we find one of the star features of this terminal, it has integrated a fingerprint reader on the screen (something increasingly common in Chinese manufacturers) that promises a recognition speed of 0.25 s with an effectiveness of 99.12%.
As a processor, we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 8-core 2.2 GHz, which guarantees a more than acceptable power for a mid-range. It is accompanied by 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of expandable storage and the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with the Flyme OS layer of the manufacturer.
On the other hand, the Meizu 16X has a 20MP front camera and dual rear camera with a configuration of 12MP f / 1.8 + 20 MP f / 2.6, six-tone flash, HDR, stabilizer and Artificial Intelligence functions. All sensors are signed by Sony.
In terms of autonomy and connectivity, the Meizu 16X includes the room connections (WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0), except the NFC chip, 3.5 mm audio jack, Type- C port and a 3100mAh battery with a fast charge that promises up to 5,8 hours of playing King of Glory (expressly said by Meizu).
It will go on sale in China on September 26 with two internal storage options (both with 6GB of RAM): one of 64GB for 2098 yuan ( about $306 ) and another of 128GB at a price of 2398 yuan ( about $350 ). Meizu has not said anything about when the 16X will reach the rest of the world (nor about the prices with which it will do so).
