Meizu CEO Jack Wong was very open about the company’s future products. For example, most of the hardware that Meizu 16 and 16 Plus offered was already known before they were released. And almost all the information came directly from the CEO himself.
In a recent community discussion, the CEO provided some important information about the forthcoming Meizu 16X smartphone – an alternative to the mid-range to the recently released flagships of the same line, He said that 16X will offer virtually the same equipment as the standard Meizu 16, with the main difference being SoC .
And we all know which chipset it speaks – Snapdragon 710 . It can be safely assumed that the camera setup and memory configuration will remain unchanged. The best part is that Jack Wong mentions that there will be a fingerprint in the screen.
Given the impressive price of both Meizu 16 phones (starting at $395), the Meizu 16X can be an excellent mid-range solution, as the CEO promised a few months ago.
