The Chinese company Meizu continues to make its efforts in the smartphone market, aiming to achieve greater space between brands. This year, two tops have been made official, the Meizu 16s and Meizu 16s Pro, and it is still expected that a larger version of the latter, called the Meizu 16s Pro Plus, will be unveiled. Still, we should see the revelation of the Meizu 16T, which has been the target of leaks and rumors for some time.
At the end of September, an image of an invitation to the presentation of the Meizu 16T flagship smartphone, due on October 23, appeared on the network. Now the Chinese manufacturer has officially confirmed this information by posting a poster on Weibo.
Meizu has not yet revealed any details regarding the upcoming device, with the exception of the picture taken with the Meizu 16T triple camera at night. Nevertheless, thanks to AnTuTu, we know that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
According to the Chinese regulator TENAA, the upcoming new product will receive a 6.5-inch display with FullHD + resolution. The memory configuration is also confirmed 8/256GB, the main camera with sensors for 12MP, 10MP and 5MP, a front camera with a resolution of 16MP and a battery with a capacity of 4400mAh. Meizu 16T will run Android 9 Pie out of the box.
The situation with the Meizu 16T is curious and even a little strange. At a time when the company is teasing with promo images of the future announcement, the novelty can already be pre-ordered in China. At least several online stores are already accepting such applications.
The cost of the basic version of the Meizu 16T is 2499 yuan or $350. In the coming days, Meizu is expected to reveal more information about its next flagship smartphone.
