Meizu CEO Jack Wong has revealed the next flagship of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer named Meizu 16. Calculated from today, there is more than one month time until its release. But Chinese social media user, Weibo, has been showing off the front panel of Plus-sized devices. The novelty will bring extremely thin frames to the sides as well as to the top and bottom.
The front panel comes directly from China’s component manufacturing factory and we can now get a precise idea of the front wall dimensions. It has been compared to the Oppo Find X futuristic novelty with a total size of 156.7 × 74.2 mm. In this comparison, it is clear that Meizu 16 Plus will not be larger than 160 × 76 mm.
Looking at the small frames around the screen and the size of the front wall itself, it is expected that the display could reach up to 6.5 inches diagonal. It is assumed that the OLED panel is installed.
Unlike the Vivo NEX S and Oppo Find X, the classic front camera and sensors, including the LED, have been preserved at the top of the display. It is expected that the Meizu 16 series will offer at least one version with the fingerprint scanner in the display, or at least a pressure sensitive mBack button. The Snapdragon 845 chipset is available and a steam chamber should be used for more efficient refrigeration.
Meizu 16, the launch date of August 26, which is possible to promote the smartphone, which price tag will be offered for sale right now is not certain.
