Meizu is expected to launch three new smartphones under Meizu 15 series next month and we are but just a month and a half away from the pegged launch of them. The lineup will include Meizu 15, Meizu 15 Lite and Meizu 15 Plus and they have been confirmed ahead of their launch through an official listing on Android.com. Today before its official release once again a foreign media released a set of hands on the concept of the Upcoming smartphone and its design is looking stunning with higher screen share, stronger configuration.
Meizu 15 Plus is shown in the picture below with the all edging bezel of the screen almost unlimited, which means the front camera and the sensor sit at the top with speakers. We will no longer find capacitive buttons that adorn the bottom of the screen.
When we look closely at the design, we see that Meizu 15 Plus has a stylish look. The phone, which has a metal case and a glass front-to-back surface, has a frameless display. If Meizu 15 Plus is launched with this design, it will be a competitor for mid-range phones with the highest screen-to-body ratio.
At the back, things are a bit more familiar. The design is still like Meizu M6 Note curved sides, and Brand logo is placed on the bottom and the volume rocker and the power button is set on the right side.
There are still 2 sensors but both share the same housing. Also, there is a LED flash. Although the picture does not show the fingerprint scanner, it is definitely placed on the side of the device like M6S.
Screens in jubilee smartphones have been enlarged, or actually extended. Meizu 15 and 15 Lite have 5.5-inch AMOLED, and the larger version, i.e. 15 Plus, has a 6-inch display.
In addition, we can learn from the graphics that smaller brothers have 4GB RAM and 32 / 64GB and 64 / 128GB of built-in memory, respectively, and the Plus memory model has more, 6GB. I think they will be driven by the latest Exynos or Snapdragon processor.
Because recently a Chinese blogger with @TechnologyWolf published a post on Weibo that reveals the smartphone Meizu 15 will receive the mid-level processor Snapdragon 660, while the Meizu 15 Plus, the most flagship model, will be equipped with the Exynos 8895 chip, which can now be found on the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8 phones, that is the flagships of last year.
Meizu has not yet announced the date of the presentation of new products, but according to rumors, the announcement will be held next month. In addition, it is possible that it could be launched at a price of 2,999 yuan (approximately $473) and the 15 Plus price will be 3,499 yuan (about $552).
