Only recently I was lucky enough to get one of the newest TV Boxes that just arrived in the market, the Vorke Z1. The Vorke Z1 came to me from Geekbuying, from where I have bought several other things too. The Vorke Z1 came to me with registered post, well protected. So let us see what came to me and if it is that good that everybody say!
Package
The Vorke Z1 as I said came to me with registered post from Geekbuying. Inside the box, we can find the TV box itself, a power-cable with EU adaptor ready to use, a HDMI cable in order to connect the TV box with your telly, a manual in English and the remote controller that needs 2 x AAA batteries, which are not included. The box outside from the backside has a detailed list of the specs of the TV Box and what does supports and includes.
Design
The Vorke Z1 comes as a black box, like most of the TV boxes are. From the top side of the TV box we see the logo of the company. The beautiful of the logo is that when the TV box is OFF, it lights up in red colour and when the TV box is on, lights up blue. You can see it in the images below. On the front side of the Vorke Z1, we see a LCD panel that has only a LED light, that turns from red to blue if the Vorke is off or on and a power button. At the one side we find 2 x USB slots and a Micro SD slot. At the other side is where we connect the external antenna for better receiving of the WiFi signal. At the rear side we see an HDMI slot, SPDIF, AV, LAN slot of 1Gbit for the AC connector.
Hardware
The Vorke Z1 comes with the latest Octa core Amlogic S912 ARM Cortex-A53 and for the graphics has ARM Mali-T820MP3. For memory, the TV box comes with the number of 3GB DDR4 RAM and 32GB eMMC5.0 of internal storage. I can assure you that with this specs the Z1 runs like a rocket everything I tried. The internal storage can be expanded by even 32GB more if needed. The OS is Android 6.0, so it can run Kodi 17.0 without any problem. You can even install any add-on you want, you wont understand the slightest delay surfing around the menu.
Features
The Vorke Z1 come with some very impressive specs. First of all, it supports dual band WiFi, something very important if you want to see through WiFi HD movies without any delay. It also supports IEEE 802.11 ab/g/n/ac. If you want to connect it to your router through cable, the Z1 supports 1Gbit connection. For connecting with other devices, it features BT 4.0 version. As for video output, features built-in HDMI 2.0a transmitter including both controller and PHY with HDR, CEC and HDCP 2,2, 4Kx2K@60fps max resolution output. Conclusion
The Vorke Z1 is a really impressive TV Box. I also have a Zidoo X6 Pro, which is also a strong piece for TV Box, but I have to admit that the Vorke Z1 worked more ease and had no delay in the menu or elsewhere.
