As the year 2023 draws to a close, Mediatek and Qualcomm are preparing to launch a new generation of flagship SoCs to add new sparks to the competition in the mobile phone market.
Today, the digital blogger @digital chat station revealed the latest news of Mediatek Dimensity 9300 on Weibo. The latest prototype of the chip is said to have a frequency of 3.25 GHz±, a CPU scheduling of 1*X4+3*X4+4*A720, and a GPU of Immortalis G720 MC12. Igeekphone notes that this is the first time Mediatek has adopted a full-core architecture design, with four Cortex-X4 super-large cores, which increase performance by 15% and reduce power consumption by 40% compared to X3.
Although the specific running score of the current Dimensity 9300 has not been announced, the digital blogger revealed that in the Antutu V10, the CPU and GPU of the Dimensity 9300 exceed that of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The GPU is higher and the CPU is higher. However, the energy consumption performance of Dimensity 9300, the blogger did not disclose.
It is worth mentioning that the Dimensity 9300 is based on TSMC’s N4P process, which is a process further optimized by TSMC on the basis of 5nm. TSMC claims that the N4P process can improve performance by 11 percent compared to the original N5 process, or improve energy efficiency by 22 percent and transistor density by 6 percent, while N4 can improve performance by 6.6 percent.
It is reported that the vivo X100 series will become the first model of Dimensity 9300, which is expected to be officially released in November, when we will be able to see the real contrast between Dimensity 9300 and Apple A17 Pro, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3, please look forward to it.
