Blogger Digital chat site revealed that the next generation of Mediatek flagship processor named Dimensity 9300, using Taiwan Semiconductor N4P process, this 5G Soc by vivo and Mediatek both jointly built, high probability by vivo X100 debut.
The Mediatek Dimensity 9300 uses TSMC’s N4P process, which provides an 11% performance improvement over the original 5nm technology, also known as N5. Compared to the N4, performance improved by 6%. In terms of power efficiency, N4P improved by 22% and transistor density also improved by 6%.
At the same time, the N4P process can easily migrate 5nm platform-based products, reducing R&D costs for customers and providing faster, more energy efficient updates to 5nm platform-based products.
In addition, the Mediatek Dimensity 9300 will have a very large core + large core + small core layout. The large core should be Cortex X4, the large core could be Cortex A715, and the small core could be A515.
The chip will debut in the second half of this year, and it will compete with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen3, which will also debut in the second half of this year.
