Maze Comet is a smartphone with a 5.7-inch display with 1440×720 pixel resolution (HD +), with a special design for frames. Under the shell, there is instead a MediaTek MTK6750T 1.5 GHz processor with 8 cores, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage, while the built-in battery is 4,000 mAh, and of course not removable.
Design & Display
The design is definitely unique! Typical for an 18: 9 display is the elongated design of the Maze Comet. The back is the first sight: this is not as usual made of metal or glass, but covered with artificial leather. Also, the camera mount is far more than functional. It resembles a metal coat, which seems to be screwed onto the leather. The shining “Maze” -letter completes the back.Continue on the front. On the one hand, the transition from the frame to the display glass with 2.5D glass seems to have been extremely successful.the Maze Comet gets a 5.7-inch large panel in the elongated format. The resolution was officially not yet announced, but it is listed with 1440 x 720 pixels, thus just HD and 282 PPI. We hope to reach a FullHD panel.
Hardware
The new standard SoC of the next medium class is the MediaTek MT6750T! The Octa-core clocks in the Maze Comet with 1.53 GHz, at least 4 of the 8 Cortex Arm-A53 cores. The others are likely to slow down to save energy. To the graphic takes care of the Mali-T860 chip and the system is full 4GB of memory available. This will find a place on the 64GB large memory. With the hardware, you will have a lot of time to enjoy – only in 3D games is stalled.
Features & Camera
The 43,000 points at AnTuTu also speak for themselves. With the Maze Comet, the performance will also depend on how neat the system is optimized. Announced the Maze Comet with Android 7.0, which runs in the Maze Alpha fast and as little as necessary was changed. In the elaborate camera on the back is a single sensor. The Sony IMX 258 is indicated with 13Mp (interpolated by 8MP) and has a diaphragm of f2.2.On the front, the IMX219 from Sony is used. This shoots Selfies with 8MP and an f2.2 aperture.Of the data, the Maze Comet is the same fingerprint sensor as the Maze Alpha. This works flawlessly and reads, for the commands “short and long press”. Officially, it is not yet, but it is also possible to “hide” the on-screen buttons at the Maze Comet and replace them with the home button.
Battery
The battery of the Maze Comet offers a capacity of 4000 mAh, which seems sufficient. With the 5.7 inch display as well as the mid-range CPU you will surely come across the day. We appreciate the display on time to 4 to 5.5 hours per day. Thus, the Maze Comet also survives two days in a copious manner. The charge is via the Type-C connection with 5V / 2A.
Conclusion
