We had not talked for a long time about the upcoming terminals that Lenovo will present to renew its Moto range. We have already seen quite a few indications about what we will find in the Moto G6 of 2018, but about the economic terminals of the firm, such as the Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus, there is still not much information.
The little that we had of the Moto E5 are those first renders of the device that seemed to show what was a dual camera in the back but, that taking a closer look, we confirmed that it was a camera with a lens accompanied by a socket where, presumably, some sensors of the phone would be incorporated.
Now our suspicions are confirmed after the appearance in SlashLekas of the first real images of the Moto E5 Plus and that we leave you below so that you can see all the details of the Lenovo smartphone.
Fundamentally we expect few changes between one model and another, beyond the classic increase in screen and battery of the Moto E5 Plus, compared to the original Moto E5. We still have no date for the presentation of these or the new Moto G6, but given the amount of leaks that begin to occur of all models of “Motorola”, it is possible that before summer we have all the new phones in the market.
It is possible that both phones join the fashion of frames without frames … relatively. The first render of the device showed a front panel that seemed to have a display format 18.9 and it is likely that this year is the main novelty of Lenovo’s low-cost phones. However, this can only be confirmed at the time of presentation.
Internally, both the Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus should be marketed with a mid-low processor. Given that the official specifications have not yet come out, we do not know if the mobiles will be powered by a MediaTek chipset or a Qualcomm processor, although everything points to the American firm that we can find in “the guts” of both models. It is likely that the standard model has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space, while the Moto E5 Plus would come with up to 3GB of RAM. We do not know if Lenovo plans to use Android One or Android GO on these phones, but it could be another of the manufacturer’s surprises.
