In recent hours the well-known company LG has announced in Korea a new smartphone belonging to the medium-low end of the market. We are talking about the new X4 (2019), which is a renewed version of the model presented on the market last year.
LG X4 in version 2019 is, therefore, the new smartphone announced by the LG company. It is actually a device very similar to the already known LG K12 +. The technical specifications, in fact, are very similar between the two smartphones. To differentiate them, however, we find some particularities.
The new generation of the LG X4 has grown in size and now includes a 5.7-inch screen with HD + resolution (1440 x 720 pixels), 18: 9 aspect ratio and 2.5D crystal. Inside, we found the Helio P22 processor at 2 GHz, together with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU at 650MHz, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable with a Micro SD card).
In the photographic section, it has a 16MP rear camera with PDAF focus and an 8MP front camera, both with LED flash. Added to this is a direct access button to Google Assistant and DTS: X sound technology to enjoy 7.1-channel audio. In this sense, it also highlights the possibility of playing sound at 32 bits up to 192 KHz.
On the other hand, the new model of LG has a fingerprint reader and an internal battery of 3000mAh; Although LG does not specify it, we imagine that, as it is an entry-level terminal, it does not have a fast or wireless charge.
In terms of connectivity, the LG X4 2019 has dual SIM with 4G, WiFi 4, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and headphone jack. It also boasts MIL-STD 810G military certification, which means it has passed the military tests of resistance to extreme temperatures, humidity, shock, and vibration.
LG has confirmed that the LG X4 (2019) will go on sale in Korea on April 26 through three local operators and will be sold for about $246 in two colors, Aurora black (black) or platinum gray (gray ), and in a single configuration with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
And will it leave its borders? Yes, the LG X4 (2019) will reach the international market under the name LG K40, a model that was already announced in February together with the K50.
