LG presented its X2, the company’s new economic smartphone for the Korean market. The smartphone was unveiled via a press release on LG’s blog. The devices are equipped with specifications related to the low end and, of course, with a corresponding price range.
The measures are 144.8×71.9×8.2mm for 152 grams and the interesting highlight of this LG X2 is probably its 8MP sensor equipped with the ‘Auto Shot’ function. This function automatically recognizes faces when shooting in Portrait mode. LG X2 features a 5-inch IPS HD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor at 1.3 GHz with a capacity of 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory expandable via microSD card. Switching to the camera, the smartphone is equipped with a sensor for the single camera on the back of 8MP and an LED flash.
The rear camera offers features such as Auto Shot and Quick Share that allow the user to share images instantly via SNS or messages. At the front, the smartphone houses a 5MP front camera to take good selfies and make good quality video calls. In addition to the camera sensor, the back panel also houses a fingerprint scanner.
LG X2 offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. On board, we find a non-removable battery of 2500mAh and Android 7.1.2 Nougat. The smartphone will be available in Aurora Black color at a price of around $177, starting from June 29 for the Korean market.
