After some timid indiscretions, lasting months, LG Watch W7 has become official during the presentation of LG V40 ThinQ and so it’s time to discover it and give it a close look.
LG Watch W7 is a smartwatch that combines the functionality of smartwatch with Wear OS to those of hybrid smartwatches: on the top, in fact, a 1.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels above which the hands are placed mechanics that, besides the hour, are able to show information on the altimeter, on the barometer, on the stopwatch, on the timer, and on the compass.
Inside, in the case of 44.5 mm, space is a processor Snapdragon Wear 2100 (yes, the old model), 768MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, the Bluetooth 4.2 LE, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, altimeter and a 240mAh battery able, according to LG, to guarantee two days of use of the digital features of Wear OS.
Using the mechanical functions, however, LG claims that LG Watch W7 is able to offer a range of up to 100 days, ie over three months. There are, as you understand, NFC, cellular connectivity via SIM and GPS, so they lack those features that would have given him a much greater interest.
It is made of steel and glass, measures 45.5 x 44.5 x 12.9 mm, weighs 79.4 grams and uses standard 22 mm straps. LG has confirmed that Watch W7 will be available from October 14 in the United States from $449.99. We can reserve it from October 7th.
