Recent leaks have made it quite evident that the LG’s upcoming flagship phone -the LG G7 ThinQ will be arriving with a notched display. The South Korean company has already confirmed that it would be debuting the phone on May 2. Now the rumor mill has leaked out some information on the successor of the LG V30. Fresh information claims that the LG V30’s successor will be called LG V35 ThinQ and it will be arriving with a notchless OLED display.
The LG G7 ThinQ is likely to feature MLCD+ display panel. It is low power consuming screen that offers a very high brightness of up to 800-nits. Fresh information reveals that LG V35 ThinQ won’t be featuring MLCD+ display, but it would be arriving with a 6-inch OLED display.
The LG V30 and LG V30S smartphones are both equipped P-OLED display that offers QHD+ resolution. However, there are no details available on whether the LG V35 ThinQ will have a P-OLED display, but what is known is that it would be supporting a QHD+ screen resolution and offer an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is expected to deliver a screen-to-body ratio of around 80 percent.
As far as design is concerned, the LG V35 ThinQ will be elongated device that will offer one-handed operation. It will come in Black and Grey color options. It is expected to arrive in f/1.6 aperture 16-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual camera and 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC using an ESS Sabre 9228. The device will also carry support for far-field voice recognition within range of up to 17 feet.
