The South Korean company LG Electronics surprised us today by announcing a new model in Korea that is part of the LG Signature Edition series of luxury devices. The LG Signature Edition is limited to 300 units just for Korea and it will available in two colors -Black and white-the LG Signature Edition stand out above all as a collector’s device.
The new model is called “LG Signature Edition” but it is basically an LG V30 with a unique and elegant design. The back of the device is made of zirconium ceramic with a special processing (Zirconium Ceramic).
Zirconium is a metal resistant to abrasion and corrosion. This material is complicated and difficult to mold, but it does not scratch or scratch over time. Because of this, it is made in the form of ceramics and is mainly used in luxury watches. In addition, LG will offer engraving services that will allow customers to put their name on the laser on the back of the product if they wish.
Inside, the LG Signature Edition presents some significant differences with respect to the LG V30 and LG V30 +. One is the memory since it comes with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Another difference is that it comes with Android 8.0 Oreo, while the LG V30 is still in Nougat. It shares many features like the processor, for example, the Snapdragon 835, or the 6-inch OLED borderless screen with a Quad HD + definition. It offers us a dual 16MP + 13MP camera, an IP68 certification, Qi wireless charging technology. A battery with fast recharge (QC3.0) of 3.300 mAh, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC technology, 32bit HiFi quad-core DAC.

For a unit price of 2 million Won, or ($1828.55) which is more expensive than iPhone X in the local 1.63 million won. This is the first time that LG markets a smartphone under the Signature appellation, formerly reserved for television sets and premium home appliances. Being a luxury model, however, this LG Signature Edition phone is not going to be easy to come by. To start, you need to move to Korea, where it will be sold exclusively. Secondly, you have to be one of the 300 lucky ones to be able to acquire one.
