LG ‘s Q-series includes affordable phones from major Korean companies. The first devices of this series are Q6 and Q8, respectively, the cheap versions of the G6 and V20. Recently, the Korean company launched the Q7 trio to offer cheap alternatives to those who could not afford their latest G7.
Now, the company seems to be announcing more LG Q8 +, expected to come as an affordable version of the V30. Earlier this month, the phone appeared on the KCC (equivalent to the FCC of the United States) in two variants identified by the code names LM-Q815S and LM-Q815L.
Now the name of the phone has also appeared on a list of devices that support Google Play. The list mentions LG Q8 + and codenamed cv7an in the modding community. Prior to that, the two variants were also certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance. However, the specifications of this handset have not been disclosed. So, at the moment, the only thing we can do is to summarize the main specifications of the Q8 last year and hopefully, the Q8 + will inherit much better.
The original LG Q8 has a unibody metal design, IP67 dustproof and waterproof. It has a main screen with a size of 5.2 inches and a Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, an extra 1.8-inch screen and a resolution of 160 x 1040 pixels. The phone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. Finally, it has a wide-angle camera with a resolution of 16MP.
