The V30S ThinQ and V30S ThinQ+ smartphones were showcased by LG at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 instead of the LG G7 flagship phone. This could be because the LG G7 that the company might have been working may have been canceled since there were reports that the it is being built from the scratch. Some images of the LG G7 phone that is said to be codenamed as Neo was spotted at the MWC 2018 by an Israeli journalist.
The LG G7 Neo features a notch like the iPhone X and it is fitted with a 6-inch display that supports a resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a pixel density of more than 900 ppi. It offers an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The rear side of the phone features a dual camera setup that includes a pair of 16-megapixel lenses. One of them has an aperture of f/1.6 whereas the other one has an aperture of f/1.8. It has a selfie snapper of 8-megapixel. The cameras are driven by AI for snapping enhanced shots.
The LG G7 Neo is speculated to be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 64 GB. It has a higher configuration model too that features 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It is fueled by 3,000mAh battery. These specs appear quite similar to that of the rumored LG Judy phone that is speculated to launch in June. It may arrive with a different from the scrapped LG G7 Neo.
