More than three months after launching its first smartphone with Qualcomm’s most powerful processor, the Snapdragon 855, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, Lenovo is poised to introduce a new high-end device later this month. An official of the Chinese technology company confirmed on the Weibo social network that the Lenovo Z6 Pro will be released later this April in China, and will come equipped with the Qualcomm chipset.
However, the image of the teaser published on the social network by Lenovo vice president Edward Chang suggests that the next device will feature a single rear camera, unlike the Z5 Pro GT or Z5 Pro, which has a dual camera configuration at the rear. In addition, the photo does not make it clear whether the Z6 Pro will adopt the sliding design of its predecessors.
The second image teaser revealing that Lenovo’s Z6 Pro’s macro capability can break through 2.5 cm to 2.39 cm, that is, shoot a hundred dollar bills at a distance of less than one dollar coin, you can see that the bills are invisible to the naked eye.
Recent rumors say the next phone will feature a HyperVision camera. This new type of action will allow the transfer of videos at a speed higher than the current standard, among other capabilities, as revealed by Chang during this year’s Mobile World Congress. Other expected features include Super Night View and Super Steady Shot.
The device can also support 5G although it is not known at this time whether the battery capacity will be greater than that of its predecessors (3350mAh) to meet the power consumption needs of the latest generation of mobile communications. It will also include a built-in fingerprint sensor on the screen itself.
Other important specs of the Lenovo Z6 Pro still need to be confirmed, but I’ll keep an eye out for the Lenovo announcement that will happen in the coming weeks.
