Today in iGeekPhone we’re gonna talk about Lenovo’s latest tablet, i took more than a year to release the new model, they delayed the release of this model, the Tab 4 8″ arrived on time, like the 10 inches model. But, this month Lenovo, finally released its high-end 8 inches tablet, the Lenovo Tab 4 8″ Plus. A tablet that somehow resembles how look the Z series of Sony’s tablets.
DesignThis is a 7mm. 300g. device. The rear of the device is a single glass sheet, with the rear-facing camera placed in the top left along with a tiny flash, and a small silver ‘Lenovo’ logo occupying the center. As mention before, this model resemble the Z series tablets from Sony, a metal frame with glass as cover in both sides. This is in a step up from the regular model, this feel like a premium device. Looking in front you will notice a pair of grills, one on top and one on bottom, this are for the stereo speaker. Its display is cover with corning gorilla glass.
But, this premium finish fade away once you put the kids cover, this can be included in the package, it depends of the bundle you buy. This is a soft cover made from silicon, once you put this tick protection the original white or black color of the tablet is not at sight, you ended with a black screen inside this silicon cover (green or blue).

The Tab 4 8″ Plus has quite interesting technical specifications for a tablet of its price arrived with Android Nougat. Compared with the regular model, the Plus is superior, with a higher-level processor Snapdragon 625 eight-core and 2.0 GHz frequency and more RAM 3Gb/4Gb. As its names states, the Tab 4 Plus has an 8-inch screen with 16:10 aspect ratio (optimized for video playback), which is the resolution is Full HD (1920 x 1200 pixels). On the front of the device you’ll find a 5MP selfie camera and the 8-inch, 1,200 x 1,920 IPS screen, protected by a sheet of Gorilla Glass. With excellent viewing angles, it makes for a great first impression, it can get reasonably bright too, and has a decent pixel density of 283 pixels per inch.

This top model from Lenovo has a premium construction with a mid-range performance. The Tab 4 Plus is good for media consumption and productivity, provides long battery life and smooth performance at an affordable price. Comes with almost stock Android operating system and a full suite of Google apps. The camera has a regular performance.
