Lenovo will be officially launching the Lenovo S5 smartphone tomorrow. The Chinese manufacturer has been building hype around the phone since a couple of weeks. The company has also started the official reservations page for the handset which reveals that it will be available for buying starting from March 23.
The official website of Lenovo China now features a pre-announcement page of the Lenovo S5. It hints that the handset will be equipped with dual rear cameras and it will be coming with a full screen design. Also, the Chinese manufacturer has hinted that Lenovo S5 will be arriving with affordable pricing.
In the recent past, the Lenovo K520 smartphone was spotted at TENAA. It is speculated that the K520 will be arriving in China as Lenovo S5. According to the TENAA listing, the Lenovo K520 has a 5.65-inch FHD+ display that offers an aspect ratio of 18:9
The Lenovo S5 includes an octa-core processor that clocks at 2 GHz. It is expected to arrive in variants like 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. The Lenovo S5 is pegged to arrive with a 3,000mAh battery. The backside of the phone may be fitted with a fingerprint reader. The handset will be running on ZUI, a customized version of Android 8.0. As of this writing, there is no information available on its pricing. Recent reports have revealed that it will be arriving to rival with Redmi Note 5 that was recently launched in China.
