Rumors have been circulating on the Internet for some time that Lenovo may produce a gaming smartphone, and the first speeches appeared in February. And while there was very little information about the new Lenovo Legion in the past, we now have the first photos of the device.
The smartphone developed by Lenovo appeared in a promotional video that reveals a rather original design of this flagship. Perhaps the most interesting details are the double camera built into the back in the middle, and the protruding self-propelled mechanism on the side edge.
On the back, the two sensors are not at the top but towards the center of the phone – a position we see for the first time as well. This is not uncommon because the owner usually keeps the phone from the center and secondly inside there is the battery.
We do not know where they have put the last one and how big it is. The camera is rumored to come with a 64MP sensor and a 16MP wide-angle lens. The mobile phone has a unique 20MP sensor for selfies and video calls.
The screen is the most important element for gamers. Lenovo needs to use a 144 Hz refresh rate, which allows for extremely smooth playback. There is no notch or hole that could affect the whole experience. The Lenovo Legion will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 and extremely fast LPDDR5 RAM.
There is no exact release date yet. Obviously, traffic has been delayed due to corona. It is also unclear whether the new Lenovo Legion will be released outside of China and if so, with what programming.
