Igeekphone December 9 news, according to media reports, some dealers revealed that Lenovo’s upcoming Legion Go S handheld console is priced at 600 euros (about 4607 yuan), but it is not clear whether it is the recommended retail price or estimated value, but compared to the original Legion Go handheld console price is lower.
Legion Go S has a reduced hardware configuration and will be equipped with AMD Ryzen Z2 SoC (not Z2 Extreme), which is lower performance than the Ryzen Z1 Extreme used by Legion Go.
The SoC has eight cores, with a 3.0GHz frequency, 4MB L2 cache, based on the Zen 3+ architecture, and integrated AMD Radeon 680M GPU, although the performance is not as good as Legion Go, but enough to meet the needs of mobile devices.
Legion Go S will feature an 8-inch IPS-LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200p and support for a 120Hz refresh rate, which is a touch screen.
Legion Go S will also come with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD, support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, and a 55Wh battery capacity, slightly larger than Legion Go’s 49.2Wh, but battery life is still expected to be limited. Operating system is Windows 11 Home Edition.
In addition, the Legion Go S design ditches the detachable handle controller in favor of a stationary controller, similar to the Asus ROG Ally, to reduce costs.
