Lenovo today unveiled the ThinkVision P40W display with a 21:9 scale and 5K by 2K resolution.
The actual size of the display is 39.7 inches, with a 21:9 scale resolution of 5120 x 2160, which can be seen as an extended version of the 16:9 4K display. It has a factory calibration of 99% SrGB /98% DCI-P3 with an average delta-e <2. The panel can display 10 bit color depth, complying with HDR10 standard, and has 2500R curvature. Lenovo says the panel maintains color accuracy even in “natural low blue” mode.
In terms of ports, the display has Thunder 4, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. The Thunder port also supports 100 watts of external power supply.

The US version of the Lenovo ThinkVision P40W will be available in June 2021 for $1,699.
