The Notebook market has been just lit up, as the much awaited and widely speculated Xiaomi Notebook has atlast been unveiled by the Xiaomi in all its glory. The tech industry just got its most delicious dish served hot and ready. While the tech community was busy covering Mi Notebook Air another surprise dish came in and is equally delicious, enter Lenovo Air 13 Pro which is dubbed to be the MacBook Pro killer already.
We have got two launches back to back within short interval of time, so there is alot of excitement and many things to talk about. Lenovo the top PC maker of the world to everyone’s surprise has launched its latest addition to the Notebooks dubbed Lenovo Air 13 Pro . The Notebook is supposed to be a direct competitor to the Apple Inc’s MacBook Pro and inadvertently the Xiaomi Mi NoteBook Air as Xiaomi says Mi NoteBook Air is the latest competition to the MacBook Pro (Transitivity).
Talking about the Lenovo Air 13 Pro it has quite similar specifications to the Mi Notebook Air. The Air 13 Pro has an all metal body and a very thin overall form factor measuring under just 14.6mm. The design is sleek and stylish, the bezels around the display are very thin too. The Notebook weighs just about 1.29 kg making it very light and can be taken anywhere with you without much hassle. The only notable difference here is that the Air 13 Pro has a fingerprint sensor on it while the Mi Notebook Air doesn’t.
The specifications are nearly the same including a 13.3-inch IPS display and is powered by an Intel i5-6200U processor with 4GB of RAM and 256GB ROM. There is also a 2GB NVIDIA GT940MX graphics card bundled in. Although the RAM here is half of what is offered by Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air.
Despite the RAM difference the Lenovo Air 13 Pro laptop is available for pre-sale registration from Jingdong in China at the same price the Mi Notebook Air is being offered i.e 4999 yuan ($750).
