A teaser has been launched for the event you can check out below, of a new device that we reported earlier the Cool1 a result of collaboration between the two companies LeEco and CoolPad. It was reported earlier that the two companies are working together on a smartphone and now its a fact.
The teaser says that the smartphone will be launched on August 16 in an event in Beijing, China. It is already been clear that Dual Camera setup is becoming a trend in industry and is catching up lately even in mid ranger android phones also, good recent examples would be the Huawei P9, Xiaomi Redmi Pro. Well it seems that LeEco has gone the same in a bid to remain in the competition.
The Cool1 smartphone with a Dual Camera setup surfaced on TENNA further revealing the specifications of this smartphone which include a 5.5-inch 2K display and Snapdragon 820 under the hood. It will be equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Further the phone will feature 13MP dual rear camera sensors in addition to a 5MP front facing camera. A fingerprint sensor is housed on the back as well and there is a 4200mAh battery given to it.
The pricing of LeEco Cool1 is yet to be confirmed and considering the aggressiveness LeEco has followed, the price bracket we are assuming is not more than 2000 Yuan at best, as Xiaomi Redmi Pro with similar specifications but Full HD OLED screen costs $225 was just released and this may be a direct competitor to it. Either way still many specs are to be confirmed yet so stay tuned for more.
