Lava’s upcoming Agni 2 5G phone will be the first smartphone in India to feature Mediatek’s Dimensity 7050 chip, though the chip is similar to Dimensity 1080 released last year.

Dimensity 7050 chip supports up to 200MP camera sensor and 4K@30FPS video recording, supports up to 2520 x 1080 resolution display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and supports up to LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage, It supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and dual SIM 5G connectivity.
