According to RTVI, on July 29, the Kazakh government decided to completely ban e-cigarettes and vaping products.
The country’s Republican Party said in a statement that for the health of young children, members of the interagency committee voted by a high vote in favor of a total ban on the sale, import, export and production of e-cigarettes.
According to Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Finance, e-cigarette sales in the country have increased 300-fold in the past two years. The consumption of e-cigarettes by children and adolescents has increased significantly in the past few years, with about 3 million e-cigarettes imported into Kazakhstan in two and a half years.
