Xiaomi, a Chinese electronics company, has been known to produce high-quality smartphones that are packed with innovative features. It’s no wonder that the company has a loyal fan base eagerly anticipating the release of its latest offering, the Redmi Note 12 4G. The phone is expected to be launched globally by the end of March.
Recently, whistleblower Sudhanshu Ambhore shared a render of the Redmi Note 12 4G phone, giving smartphone enthusiasts a glimpse of what to expect from Xiaomi’s upcoming device. According to the leaked renders, the Redmi Note 12 4G bears a striking resemblance to the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro Plus 5G phones that were launched in India earlier this year.
The design drawing shows that the Redmi Note 12 4G phone has a straight-edge bezel design with a slight curve between the bezel and the back panel. This design helps provide a comfortable grip. The phone has a SIM slot on the left bezel, while the power and volume buttons are located on the right bezel. The bottom of the phone has a USB Type-C port, a main speaker grill, and a microphone. Meanwhile, the top of the phone features an IR blaster and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the front, the Note 12 4G has a thick chin and fairly narrow side and top bezels.
The Redmi Note 12 4G phone also features a rear rectangular three-camera module and LED flash. Ambhore revealed that the Note 12 4G will be available in three colors – gray, blue, and green.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 12 4G will be powered by the Snapdragon 685 chip, an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 680 SoC with a peak frequency of 2.8GHz. The phone is equipped with 4GB of memory and runs the MIUI 14 system based on Android 13. It’s worth noting that the Indian version of the Redmi Note12 series was pre-installed with the Android 12 system.
The Redmi Note12 4G boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution that may support a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the phone has a 13MP front camera and a rear triple camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth/macro sensor. The phone also features a built-in 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
In conclusion, Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 4G phone is shaping up to be a top contender in the mid-range smartphone market. With its sleek design, powerful processor, and impressive camera setup, it’s no surprise that tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting its global launch.
