Vivo’s gaming sub-brand, IQOO has just announced a new terminal to reinforce its premium mid-range. The new IQOO Z3 arrives with the heart of Snapdragon 768G and a price, to the change, adjusted. The IQOO Z3 stands out for its LCD screen that reaches 120 Hz of refreshment -and 180 Hz of tactile response- as well as its cameras and support for fast charging of 55W. iQOO Z3 is designed according to the design language of many Vivo smartphones released in recent times. The back of the device has many eye-catching color options, including black, but blue, and gradient nebula. This back stands out with the main camera cluster placed in a rectangular module in the left corner, accompanied by a concentric light pattern emanating from the camera.
On the front, iQOO Z3 comes with a 6.58-inch screen, using an IPS LCD panel with a “waterdrop” design. This monitor has Full HD + resolution and has a 120Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, HDR support, and 90.61% NTSC color range display impedance. The “water drop” area is where the 16MP selfie camera is located.
In terms of performance, the iQOO Z3 is equipped with Snapdragon 768G 5G chip, 6GB / 8GB RAM, and 128GB / 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. According to iQOO, Z3 is equipped with new technology that allows using 8GB of RAM of the machine as when using 11GB (?!). On the back, the iQOO Z3 is equipped with a triple rear camera cluster including a 64MP f / 1.79 wide-angle camera, an 8MP f / 2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP f / 2.4 macro camera.
In addition, iQOO Z3 also comes with gaming features such as Multi-Turbo, Eagle Eye Mode 2.0, vibration feedback modes when playing games … Z3 is equipped with an advanced liquid cooling system, which includes a mixture of thermal paste and copper heat pipes just below the circuit board, which controls and can lower the temperature by up to 10 degrees. according to the manufacturer’s announcement.
iQOO Z3 has a 4400mAh capacity battery, supports 55W Flash Charge fast charging technology via USB-C port. In addition, the device also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and runs on the Android 11 operating system with OriginOS for iQOO 1.0 interface.
The pre-sales of IQOO Z3 are released from this Thursday in Beijing, but deliveries will only be made from the 1st of April. The entry version, with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, will cost 1699 yuan ($260), while the intermediate version, with 8GB / 128GB, will cost 1799 yuan ($275). The third, more complete, with 8GB / 256GB is also the most expensive and comes out for 1999 yuan ($305).
