Tech blogger reports indicate that iQOO plans to debut two high-end tablets during the first half of 2024, likely named the iQOO Pad3 and Pad3 Pro. The larger 13-inch model will feature a 3.1K-resolution LCD, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, and 66W fast charging. Meanwhile, the 12.1-inch variant will sport a 2.8K LCD panel, a Dimensity 9300+ processor, and 44W charging support.
Both tablets are anticipated to launch alongside updates to the existing Pad2 series. The current iQOO Pad2 boasts a 12.1-inch 2.8K+ 144Hz LCD screen with 600-nit peak brightness, Rheinland low-blue-light certification, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, and a 10,000mAh battery providing 11.5 hours of video playback. It includes a 5MP front camera, 8MP rear lens, and 44W fast charging.
The Pad2 Pro upgrades to a 13-inch 3.1K+ 144Hz LCD with 900-nit brightness, paired with a Dimensity 9300+ chipset and a larger 11,500mAh battery capable of 14.8 hours of streaming. Enhanced features include 66W charging, Monster+ 8-speaker audio, multi-device connectivity, and USB 3.2 Gen1 support.
The blogger also highlighted that Huawei, Red Magic, and Lenovo are preparing to release compact tablets in 2024, signaling intensified competition in the mid-sized device market. With cutting-edge specs and rival brands expanding their portfolios, consumers can expect a dynamic lineup of premium tablets this year.
