Last month, iQOO introduced iQOO Neo7, which runs on Mediatek’s Dimensity 9000+ flagship processor and is the only Dimensity 9000+ straight-screen flagship in its price range. The sales volume of this new model exceeded 200 million yuan within one minute after it went on sale, making it the most popular model on Nov 11.
According to iQOO’s product line layout, in addition to iQOO Neo7, iQOO Neo series will also have an SE version, which is iQOO Neo7 SE.
iQOO Neo7 SE, which will likely debut in December, will be powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 8200 flagship processor and will support 120W cable flash charging, according to Blogger’s Digital chat site.
According to revelations, Dimensity 8200 chip uses TSMC 4nm process, CPU frequency breakthrough 3.0GHz, while integrating some features of Dimensity 9000 series flagship processors, such as AI.
As we all know, Dimensity 9000 integrates MediaTek’s fifth-generation AI processor APU590, which is designed with a high energy efficiency AI architecture. Compared with the previous generation, the performance and energy efficiency are four times higher.
This means that the AI performance of Dimensity 8200 will be greatly improved. It can make use of the powerful AI computing power to do real-time noise reduction and high dynamic range compensation for each frame, so that the shot picture is not only brightened overall, but also the details in the backlight are clearer.
In terms of running score, Dimensity 8100’s Antur score has reached 800,000, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888’s running score is also around 800,000, both of which are in the same echelon.
