iQOO 9 series of flagship phones will officially launch on January 5, 2022. The phone’s screen specifications officially announce today.
The series of phones will be equipped with AMOLED screens from Samsung, using E5 luminescent materials, LTPO 2.0 technology, 10bit color, 1000Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has a contrast ratio of 8 million to 1, local peak brightness of 1500nit and variable refresh rate of 120Hz. iQOO 9 Pro will have 2K (1440P) resolution, while the iQOO 9 Standard edition will have 1080P resolution.
iQOO 9 series of phones will include standard edition and iQOO 9 Pro, and will support 120W quick charging. The phone has a curved screen and a center camera opening. It will continue its collaboration with BMW to offer a track Legend version with a three-color stripe on the back.
The phone will be equipped with second-generation LTPO technology to achieve infinitely variable frame rate, making the screen more power-efficient.
iQOO 9 Pro will also be equipped with a bank-grade ultrasonic 3D wide-area fingerprint recognition system that allows fingerprint recognition on a large area at the bottom of the screen and allows fingerprint input with a single press. The fingerprint identification area of the phone is 578mm2, which makes it more efficient and faster to unlock than the optical solution. It notes that iQOO 9 standard edition does not carry this feature.
