On September 3, iQOO’s upcoming flagship model, the iQOO 13, was certified under the model number V2408A. This new device is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of the year.
According to previous leaks, the iQOO 13 will only have a standard version, with no Pro model available. It will feature a 2K flat display and be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. This makes the iQOO 13 one of the most powerful flat-screen flagships in the industry.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is built on Qualcomm’s custom Oryon CPU, featuring two high-performance cores at 4.09GHz and six efficiency cores at 2.78GHz, along with an integrated Adreno 830 GPU.
Notably, in recent Geekbench 6 tests, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 scored 2884 in single-core and 8840 in multi-core, outperforming competitors like the A17 Pro in multi-core performance.
Additionally, the Adreno 830 GPU is rumored to have a frequency of 1250MHz, a significant boost compared to the 1GHz frequency of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3’s GPU, suggesting a performance increase of over 25%.
