According to media reports, the iPhone 16 series will adopt the new BRS display technology for the first time to achieve a narrower border design.
BRS, full name Border Reduction Structure, is a borderless display technology that Apple has adopted to make the bottom border of the panel as thin as possible, and reduce the bottom border area by winding the bottom line up.
The iPhone 16 series includes iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max four models, all with standard BRS display technology.
Notably, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus remain the same size as their predecessors at 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively, with a refresh rate of 60Hz.
The iPhone 16 Pro will be 6.3 inches in size and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be 6.9 inches in size, and both phones will support ProMotion technology. Among them, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be Apple’s largest phone ever.
